The WorldWide students with Bukela Kula, our rural tour guide/urban fashion designer.Bukela came with us to Masele, where she demonstrated how to eat the delicacy of sheep intestines, asked stimulating questions and promoted political and sociological discussions about life in South Africa, led us in a game with the kids in the village, and danced with us...back in Port Elizabeth, she took our measurements for skirts she planned to design for us.
