Male side at the funeral ceremony we attended

As a last cultural experience in Masele, we were brought to a post-funeral cleansing ceremony. The men sat on one side of the room, and the woman on the other. A man on the left, who appeared intoxicated, kept asking us to marry him, rudely interrupting the narrative that Vuyo gave us about the traditions in this ceremony.

The ceremony took place in one-room house, with a plastic sheet of fake tiling covering the dirt floor - a typical home in the country.
