I met Zukhanyo, a sweet young girl in the Sontashe family at a party they had for us when we returned to Port Elizabeth. That day, we had visited the graves of Jennifer's host mother and sister, from her host-stay in 1995. In the evening we ate a big, delicious meal and tried some homebrewed ginger beer.
Emma made friends with Zukhanyo as well - the first child Emma ever bonded with!
